Many of us made resolutions on New Year's Day. Some of us in the Wise Heart Community used SWAN meditation to examine our strengths, weaknesses, aims, and needs, and formed new sankalpas based on what we found. Now may be a good time to revisit your resolutions and sankalpas. If you attended our January SWAN workshop, you may want to review what you discovered then and see if it still rings true, or even go through the SWAN process once again. You can find recordings of the guided meditations on the Community Resources page of our web site. If you missed out on our workshop, now might be a good time to go through the SWAN process on your own. The Bihar publication SWAN Meditation: Theory and Practice will take you through the process and is available for download as an e-book.
We will be reflecting on where we are spiritually three months into this new year at this week's sadhana, with the theme Remembering and Returning. How easy has it been to hold to your resolutions or sankalpa these past three months? What tends to pull you away from your spiritual path? If you have wandered from your path, what do you need to do to return to it? Join us for our our weekly evening of devotion and reflection this Sunday at 5:45 p.m. (upstairs meeting room, Hill House, Ruscombe Community Health Center).
