Our Granny Squares Project
The Wise Heart Community remembers those who are ill or in need of special care at each weekly sadhana and monthly havan. Our granny square prayer blankets will be tangible signs of our prayers and healing thoughts. Community members have begun to crochet granny squares on their own at home. When we have a sufficient number, we will gather to assemble the squares into prayer blankets. The blankets will be given with our love to anyone who needs them.
We welcome anyone to be part of this project. You don't even need to live close by--just crochet your shares and drop them in the mail! Here are some resources for basic instructions on how to crochet and how to make granny squares. Please contact Mollie Lange if you would like to participate.
